(Continued from
The Top of The Page...)
Typically, your hair will
go through a cycle of growth and then rest. The course of each of these
cycle varies by the individual and their gender. The growth phase normally
lasts 2 to 3 years. The resting phase only last 3 or 4 months. When
the resting phase is over, hair falls out and new growth begins. During
this phase, people will normally lose 50 to 100 hairs each day. This
is normal.
Some people, mostly for genetic
reasons, lose more than 50 to 100 hairs during the resting phase. After
many years of these cycles, this causes bald spots to appear. People
who suffer from excessive hairloss or baldness typically lose 100 to
200 hairs each day during their resting phase.
The causes of hair loss are
mostly genetic but hair can also be lost by teasing it too much, excessive
hair coloring and generally doing anything that stresses it out. After
a lot of stress, hair strands become brittle and can break off.
Hair loss generally causes
a lot of embarrassment and concern for those who suffer from it. Many
people have turned to products such as Provillus, the product that is
featured on this page, in order to grow their hair. Provillus comes
in both a men's and women's formula. It consists of a gel that you put
in your hair twice a day and also a pill that you take once every day.
